Mary McGrady Farley , 85

Troy Mary McGrady Farley , 85 ,of Forest Avenue Troy died suddenly Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. McGrady Sr. and Phoebe (Banker) McGrady and wife of the late James J. Farley Sr.

She had resided in Troy all her life and attended Troy High School.

Mrs. Farley was a homemaker and worked at the Troy Telegraph and the Samaritan Hospital as a telephone operator.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy and a member of the Women's Club and the Altar Rosary Society. Her special interest was always her loves, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters, Patricia and Don Bucci of West Sand Lake, Suzanne Bucciero and Roger Vandeputte of Troy, Marcia and Stan Phillips of North Greenbush and Rosemary and Hilton Perez of West Sand Lake; three sons, Jim and Nancy Farley of Albany, Dan and Gerri Farley of Troy and Dave and Barbara Farley of Wynantskill; a brother, Edward A. McGrady Jr. of Gloversville; brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law William Phillips, Charles Roeck and Lucille McGrady; 18 grandchildren;13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marcia Phillips and Margaret Roeck and a brother, Donald F. McGrady Sr.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by with Rev. James J. Vaughan, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
