Mary Grace Reilly Barlow, July 8, 2010

Averill Park - Surrounded by family, Mary Grace (Reilly) Barlow, passed away peacefully July 8, 2010.

Mary was born in S. Troy and was a Hiller. After raising her family in W. Sand Lake, she returned to S. Troy for 33 years.

She was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel in Troy, where she was a member of the Women's Guild. Mary was proud of her Irish heritage and held the position of Sentinel for the Ancient Order of Hibernians, receiving the lifetime award for her service. She retired from Verizon after 37 years of service and was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She enjoyed many trips with family and friends and especially enjoyed her many afternoons with her Domino Club.

Beloved wife of the late Edw. Barlow Jr., Mary is survived by her children, Sharon (late Norman) Yerdon of Palmyra, NY, Edward III (Patti) Barlow of Queensbury, Keith (Penny) Barlow of Niverville, Paul Barlow of Troy, NY, Cathy (Patrick) Martin of Norwich and Karen (Edw.) Adelska of W. Sand Lake. Nine much loved Grandchildren, Christopher, Stacey (Doug), Tami, Shanna (David), Kelly (Jeff), Caitlin, Jason, Zachary and Brian and four very special Great-Grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna, Erin and Brady. Also survived by siblings Walter (late Bertilla) Reilly, Jack (Florita) Reilly, James (Jean) Reilly, Donald (Christine) Reilly, late Joseph (Carol) Reilly, Doris (Robert) Moak, Eileen (Ken) Burton, Barbara (Thomas) Comi and Edward (Elaine) Reilly. A very special thank you to family and friends, for all of your support and kindness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 Tuesday morning at St Michael's church on Williams Rd in Troy.

Relatives and friends may call at St. Michael's church on Monday, July 12, 2010 from 4-8 PM.

Memorial donations may be made to the Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Blvd, Rensselaer, NY 12144 or the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
