Mary Maserian Asadorian

Mary J. Maserian Asadorian, 87 Windsor, CT Mary J. Maserian Asadorian, 87, died Thursday May 3, 2001at Kimberly Hall Windsor, CT after a long illness. Born in Aintab, Turkey she was daughter of the late Jacob and Haiganoush Maserian and wife of the late Robert J. Asadorian. She had resided in Connecticut for the past 6 « years and in Troy for 59 years and was educated at Arlington, MA High School and Burdett Business College in Boston. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Department of Taxation and Finance for the New York State Department of Civil Service. She was a member of St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church in Watervliet, Daughters of Vartan, Ladies Aide Society, the Red Cross and a volunteer at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Survivors include a daughter Carolyn Haboian and husband John of Manchester, CT; a brother Harry Maserian of Arlington, MA; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Joseph R. Asadorian Sr. and a sister Alice Javian. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00am at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church 100 Troy-Schenectady Road Watervliet with Rev. Stepanos Doudoukjian, Pastor, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
