Martha Toolajian Rokow

Martha Toolajian Rokow, 77 Troy Martha Toolajian Rokow, 77, of Park Blvd., died Saturday at Ellis Hospital Schenectady, after a brief illness. Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Harry and Zabel Nahabedian Toolajian and wife of the late Albert Rokow. She had resided all her life in Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School. Mrs. Rokow was employed by the Troy City School District for several years retiring in 1987 and later worked for Cohoes Fashions. She was a member of the United Armenian Calvary Congregational Church in Troy. Survivors include two daughters Rebecca M. Rokow-Kittell of Troy and Amy S. Hale and husband David of Wynantskill; a sister Clare Schisa and husband Louis of Latham; three grandchildren Nicholas D. and Gwendolyn L. Kittell both of Troy and Holland Hale of Wynantskill and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am from the United Armenian Calvary Congregational Church Ninth and Eagle Streets in Troy with Rev. Dr. Mihran G. Kupeyan, Pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. corner of Pawling Avenue at Maple Avenue Troy Monday from 4-8pm. Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
