Martha L. Bulson Essegian

Niskayuna - Martha L. Bulson Essegian, 90, of Ascot Lane died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Eagle Mills, she was daughter of the late Ellery Bulson and Flora Campbell Bulson and wife of the late Andring Essegian. She was raised in Eagle Mills and resided many years inTroy prior to moving to East Greenbush in 1975. She attended the one room schoolhouse at Clums Corners and Troy High School.
Martha was a machine tool operator for the Watervliet Arsenal for 20 years, part of that time as Rosie the Riveter during World War II. She retired 25 years ago.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed bowling, golfing, volleyball and playing rummy with her friends at Glen Eddy.
Survivors include a son, Charles Alger, East Greenbush; a daughter, Lorraine (Richard) Carlson, Peck Lake, NY; a granddaughter, Polly L. Alger, Lowell, NC and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Paul and Ira Bulson, Lorraine Perkins, Doris Link, Janis Bulson and Lenore Peckham.
Funeral service private at the convenience of the family.
