Marion K. 'Missy' Warland, 69

Brunswick - Marion K. 'Missy' Warland, 69, of Brunswick Drive died Monday, September 9, 2013, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn Albany after a brief illness.

Born in Meriden, CT, she was daughter of the late Edward Knell and Marion Lally Knell. She was raised in Connecticut and resided in Schodack, Kinderhook Lake, Grafton and Brunswick. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA in 1966.

Missy was an aide at the Everett Wager Senior Center in Cropseyville for 5 years. Previously, she worked at Hannaford as Manager of Trucking in Schodack for 15 years.

She taught yoga at the senior center and was an avid biker and swimmer. She was a devoted grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Chuck (Aimee) Warland, West Sand Lake, Scott Warland, Burnt Hills, Gretchen (Ezra Levine) Warland, Sudbury, MA and Brendan (Christina) Warland, Upper Saddle River, NJ; a sister, Patricia Grant, Meriden, CT; her grandchildren, Kenny Warland, Sarah and Anna Levine and Joshua, Taylor, Jet, Heidi, Gwendolyn and Abigail Warland; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Knell and two brothers, Edward and William Knell.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at The Congregational Church in Killingworth UCC, 273 Route 81 Killingworth, CT 06419.
