Marion Keyes Lynd, 96

Eagle Mills - Marion Keyes Lynd, 96, formerly of Eagle Mills died Sunday, August 02, 2009, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Andrew Keyes and Dora Johnston Keyes and wife of the late John Lynd. She had resided on Maple Avenue in Eagle Mills for many years and Canterbury House in Troy for several years and was educated in Troy schools.

Mrs. Lynd was a homemaker.

She was a member for 84 years of Eagle Mills Methodist Church now Hope United Methodist Church and a member of United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her daughter, Ruth (Charles) Rebhun of Castleton; a son, Leonard A. (Leni) Lynd of Wynantskill; her grandchildren, Richard and Sharon Rebhun, Nancy Sciotti, Charles Rebhun, Suzanne Pohlmann, Leonard Rebhun, William Lynd and Laurie Wormuth; 14 great grandchildren; a great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Margaret Wiegner, John Wilson, Kenneth Keyes, Helen Gutbrodt, Florence Bonesteel and Harold Keyes.

Funeral service private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Interment will be in Eagle Mills Cemetery Eagle Mills.
