Marion M. Lawson Henningson, 87

Wynantskill- Marion M. Lawson Henningson, 87,of Powell Street, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush after a brief illness.

Born in Airdrie, Scotland,, she was the daughter of the late Gavin Lawson and Margaret (Miller) Lawson and wife for 67 years of W. Robert Henningson.

At the age of 12, she came to the United States to Troy where she resided for 37 years. She later resided in Illinois and North Carolina and the past 4 years in North Greenbush. She was educated at public school 10 in Troy.

Mrs. Henningson was a homemaker, accomplished ceramacist and painter who loved to work in the garden. An avid golfer, she made a hole-in-one at the Jackson Country Club in Cabondale, Illinois in 1970. As a child she attended the former Woodside Presbyterian Church. A sweet, loving, kind person, she valued family and will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn A. Henningson of Wynantskill and Margaret C. Sunukjian (the late Haig M.) of Defreestville; three grandchildren, Alan H. Sunukjian (Nancy) of Waterford, Donna M. Mackay (Brett) of Albany and Robert M. Sunukjian (Rachel) of Atlanta; two great grandchildren, Mary Christina and Michael Haig Sunukjian; a sister, Margaret L. Allen (Leslie) of Sand Lake and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
