Marion Thomas Glennon, 91

Ballston Spa-Marion Thomas Glennon, 91, died Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa after a long illness.

Born in North Adams, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albert Thomas and Margaret (Gay) Thomas and wife of the late John Joseph Glennon.

She was raised in North Adams, MA, in the late 30's moved to Hampton Manor in East Greenbush, then to West Sand Lake until 1977 when she moved to Pleasant Street in Ballston Spa. She was educated at North Adams, MA schools and Mildred Elley School in Albany.

Mrs. Glennon was employed as a senior clerk at New York State Unemployment Insurance in Albany for 38 years, retiring in 1976.

She was a member of the Ballston Spa Senior Citizens and after her retirement traveled abroad often. She was raised in the Episcopal church.

She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis K. Warmt (William) of Ballston Spa; a sister, Phyllis Maddalla of Rensselaer; two grandsons-William Christian Warmt of Malta and John Thomas Warmt (Lori) of Saratoga Springs; two great-grandsons, Gregory Christian Warmt of Malta and Kyle William Warmt of Malta; two great granddaughters, Emily Grace and Sydney Ray Warmt and six nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Ethel Anderson.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Roue 150 West Sand Lake with Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Bush, Pastor of Salem United Methodist Church in West Sand Lake, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-7 PM.Interment Elmwood Cemetery in West Sand Lake.
