Marie M. Southwick Quell, 90

Troy Marie M. Southwick Quell, 90, formerly of Burns Apts, died Saturday at Samaritan Hospital Troy.

Born in Rensselaer, she was daughter of the late George and Rachel Barret Southwick and wife of the late Frederick Quell. She had resided in Troy most of her life and was educated at Troy Public Schools.

Mrs. Quell was employed at Tek Hughes, Roxy Cleaners and most recently for Quail Laundry.

Survivors include two sons, Frederick Quell of Lenoir city, TN and Walter Quell of Hoosick Falls; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two daughters Winifred Quell and Marguerite Robinson and a sister Pearl Whiting.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9:00am from the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake and at 9:30am from St. Henry's Church in Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. There will be no calling hours. Interment St. Henry's Cemetery in Averill Park.
