Marie E. (Lamphere) Hankle

North Greenbush - Marie E. Lamphere Hankle, 61, of Holland Drive died peacefully Sunday, August 6, 2017, at her residence after a long illness.

Born in Albany, she was daughter of the late Dennis Lamphere and Genevieve Moch Lamphere and wife for 41 years of Kevin F. Hankle Sr. She had resided in Rensselaer County for 18 years. 

Marie was a sales representative for Cousins Fish Market in Albany for 30 years, retiring in 2008.  

She was a world class gambler; she loved playing bingo, slots at the casinos and spending time with her dogs and family. 

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Kevin F. Hankle Jr., Rensselaer, Janna Hankle and fiancé, Andrew Helschien, Albany, Owen Hankle, Rensselaer and Erick Hankle and girlfriend Erin Fitzpatrick, Troy; her siblings, Daniel (Kim) Lamphere, Stanley (Denise) Lamphere, Denise (Edward) Hart and Virginia Cellery and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Blanche Lamphere.

on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 4-6 PM with a service to follow at 6 PM with  Deacon Charles Wojton,  officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Marie E. Hankle to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue Menands, NY 12204.
