Mari Tousenian (Hagopian), 80

Loudonville - Mari Tousenian (Hagopian), 80, of Old Niskayuna Road died suddenly May 21, 2008 at Albany Medical Center Hospital .

Born in Aleppo, Syria, she was daughter of the late Dr. Stephen Tousenian and Ossana (Sabounjian) Tousenian and wife of the late Hagop Hagopian.

She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother, an active and proud Armenian community member and a patient of Rubin Dialysis for 11 years.

Survivors include three children, Sona (Harout) Kermezian of Syria, Hovanes (Ojen) Hagopian of Syria and Rita (Ohan) Ohanian of Loudonville; her grandchildren, Manuel Kermezian, Yeran Akellian, Hagop, Mirna and Josline Hagopian, Isabel and Leo Ohanian and Raffi Altounian; her great grandchildren, Karno and Karina Akellian and Sandra, Harout and Simon Kermezian and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by two brothers, Dr. Antranik Tousenian and Noubar Tousenian.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church 101 Spring Avenue Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the CHURCH on Friday from 7-9PM Interment Albany Rural Cemetery Menands.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mari Tousenian to Homenetmen of Albany or Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church or Rubin Dialysis Center.
