Margaret Kacharian Moutray, 83

North Greenbush-Margaret Kacharian Moutray, 83, died Sunday, October 30, 2005.

Born in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Edward Kacharian and Anna (Mardigian) Kacharian and beloved wife of the late Edward Moutray Jr.

She had resided in Troy and North Greenbush most of her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Margaret was employed at the RPI Bookstore for many years until her retirement in May of 2005. Previously, she worked in her families grocery store on College Avenue in Troy and later at the Watervliet Arsenal and the Albany Airport.

She was a faithful member and volunteer at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church in Watervliet. Margaret was a caring and loving person who always took time to help family members and friends.

She is survived by her brother, John Kacharian of West Sand Lake; her step children, William, Edward, Jimmy, Michael and the late Mary; many cousins and her loving friends from the RPI Bookstore and Student Union.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10:30 AM at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church 100 Troy-Schenectady Road Watervliet with Rev. Stepanos Doudoukjian, Pastor, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 PM.

Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
