Curtis, Jr. (Kathy) of Miami, FL; Tina Curtis Clifford of Eugene, OR; grandchildren; F. William Curtis (Dawn), Tracy Fleming (Jay); William Clifford; Kerry Clifford Petkovits (Ranny) and Elizabeth Clifford along with 3 great-grandsons, a brother Charles J. Slagle, several nieces and nephews. Peg graduated from Port Chester High School and attended Russell Sage College until her marriage in July 1948.

While residing in Troy, Peg worked part-time in the family business, Fred W. Curtis Co., where her main responsibility was managing the wallpaper department. Upon the family move to Eagle Mills she was also a Cub Scout Leader and involved in PTA at Tamarac Schools. Peg loved to travel and she visited France, Germany and Romania. She also attended the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid, which she considered one of the highlights in her life.

Upon retirement to Florida in 1986 Peg began volunteering at the Fort Myers Library and became a "go to" person in the genealogy department where she also did a tremendous amount of research on her Slagle family and Fred's Curtis family history. She was a member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution and the Daughter's of The American Colonists where she held many offices in both organizations. For fun, Peg enjoyed fishing outings with her son, canoeing at "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge, and bird watching. She also created many beautiful pieces of needlework, some of which is on display in the Henry Ford Museum. Among her many friends in Fort Myers, Peg enjoyed meeting with her bridge group every week.
