Malvina Durivage Hasbrouck, 78

Grafton - Malvina Durivage Hasbrouck, 78, of Rt 2 Grafton died Tuesday, January 04, 2011, at her residence after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Felix J. Durivage Sr. and Julia Spiak Durivage and wife of the late Ronald L. Hasbrouck Sr. She was raised in Cropseyville and resided in Grafton most of her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Hasbrouck was a monitor and office worker for Troy High School.

She was a member of the Grafton Trail Riders, a Cub scout leader and a dispatcher for the EMS and Grafton Fire Company. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed watching wildlife.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald L. (Shirley) Hasbrouck Jr., Grafton and Herbert S. (Maxine) Hasbrouck, Grafton; two daughters, Suzanne M. (David) Baker, Colonie and Robin M. Hasbrouck, Grafton; a brother, Robert Durivage, Troy; her grandchildren, Jeremy Thurber, Ronald Richard Hasbrouck and Jonathan, Kimberly and Lance Hasbrouck; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Rudd and Pauline O'Brien and a brother, Felix J. Durivage Jr.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 11AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Michael Gorchov, Rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Troy, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Eagle Mills Cemetery.
