Macel V. Kennedy, 77

Albany - Macel V. Kennedy, 77, formerly of Brunswick died Monday, May 20, 2013, at St. Peter's Nursing & Rehab Center Albany after a long illness.

Born in Grafton, she was daughter of the late Orville Brenenstuhl and Cecelia Abbt Soucy and wife of the late John F. Kennedy Sr. She was raised in Grafton and attended a one room schoolhouse. She later resided in Watervliet and since 1962 in Brunswick. She was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Kennedy was a typist at the Watervliet Arsenal many years ago and was a homemaker for many years.

She enjoyed raising goats.

Survivors include two sons, John F. (Natalie) Kennedy Jr., Cambridge and Robert E. Kennedy, Troy; a daughter, Diane M. (Mrs Michael) Amari, Reading, CT; three grandchildren, Joseph and David Kennedy and Michael Amari and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert O. Brenenstuhl.

A graveside service will be held at Eagle Mills Cemetery on Thursday at 2pm with Rev. John Yanas, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church, officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Macel V. Kennedy to the American Cancer Society One Penny Lane Latham, NY 12110.
