Lynne A. (Kane) Dean

April 21, 1941 ~ April 17, 2017 (age 75) 75 Years Old

Pittstown - Lynne A. Dean (Kane) entered into eternal rest after a long illness, on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Ellis Hospital Schenectady, with her loving family beside her.  Lynne, the daughter of the late Edward and Eileen (Blair) Kane, was born April 21, 1941 in Cohoes, New York.  She graduated from Cohoes High School, and attended Hudson Valley Community College.  Miss Lynne, as she was fondly called by her former dance students, was the Owner/Instructor of the 'Miss Lynne School of Dance' (later called the 'Lynne Dean School of Dance'), in Troy, NY for 35 years.  She enjoyed her family and friends, and was known to be extremely entertaining and overly generous.  She took tremendous pride in keeping up with the activities of her children, grandchildren, and close circle of friends and relatives.  She was a wonderful mother and a loving wife.  She will live in our hearts forever until we meet again.

Lynne A. Kane was united in holy matrimony to Thomas R. Dean on November 17, 1963.  The union was blessed with two sons.  Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Stephen (Doreen) & David (Alison) Dean, both of Johnsonville, NY; grandchildren, David (Rachel), Alexander, Adam, Katrina, Caileigh and Olivia Dean, and Anastasia Cholakis; two great-granddaughters, Alaina and Addison Dean; sisters, Eileen Davin of Cohoes, NY, and Maureen (Earl 'Butch') Gilligan of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister-in-law Carol (Jim) Hennessey of Naples, FL, and former daughter-in-law Joanne Monagan; along with a host of additional family and friends.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law Sheri Dean, granddaughter Ashleigh Dean, sister Donna Whitney and brother Thomas Kane.
