Troy - Lois Alpharetta McCartney (nee Snyder), born September 27, 1920, passed away on June 24, 2015, after a long and happy life. A life-long Troy resident, Lois was the daughter of Dana Snyder and Addie Banker Snyder. She was predeceased by her husband Harry, sisters Marjorie Linendoll and Carolyn Snyder and brother John D. Snyder. She was educated in Troy Public Schools and graduated from the Troy Business College. Her presence in their daily lives will be greatly missed. She is also survived by her sister -in- law, Shirley Snyder, several nieces and nephews as well as many grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and many close friends and neighbors.
