Lillian M. Ramroth McGuire, 92

Troy-Lillian M. Ramroth McGuire, 92,of Spring Avenue Troy died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late John Ramroth and Lily (Knox) Ramroth and wife of the late John Francis McGuire Sr.

She had resided in Troy all her life and was educated at Troy schools.

Mrs. McGuire was employed as a manager of the former Blue Cottage Candy and Copper Kettle Candy and worked for New York State Unemployment.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy.

She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Gilmore (Paul) of Troy and Doris M. McGuire of Troy; a son, John F. McGuire Jr. (Barbara) of Clifton Park; 5 grandchildren, Laurie Gilmore of Troy, Maura Ogden of Poestenkill, Erin Avery of Troy, Kelly Meek of Stillwater and John McGuire III of Stillwater; five great grandchildren and a niece, Joan Lawrence of Tustin, CA. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Lawrence and Doris Ramroth and two brothers, John and Harold Ramroth.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue and at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Pawling Avenue Troy.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 PM.

Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery in Troy.
