Lena Myczko Vartanian

Lena Myczko Vartanian , 83

Brunswick Lena Myczko Vartanian , 83 ,of Valley View Drive died Friday, June 11, 2004 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a brief illness.

Born and educated in Poland, she was the daughter of the late George Myczko and Anna (Katkowiecz) Myczko and wife of the late Kaidzak Vartanian.

She immigrated to the United States in 1950 and had resided in the Troy area.

Mrs.Vartanian was employed as a Cramers Armory in Cohoes as a seamstress for 19 years retiring in 1999 and prior to that she was a sewing machine operator for Marshall Ray in Troy for 22 years.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukranian Orthodox Church in South Troy.

She is survived by her son, Robert Vartanian (Patricia) of Buffalo; a daughter, Valentina Pawlowski (John) of West Sand Lake and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Sara Pawlowski of West Sand Lake.

Services will begin at 9:30 AM Monday at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with a Parastas Service held Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Ukranian Orthodox Church 376 Third Street Troy with Rev. Paul Szewczuk, Pastor and Rev. Bohdan Kalynyuk, Former Pastor, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call a the funeral home Sunday from 6-8PM with a Litia Service at 7PM.

Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
