Clarksville, TN  - Lawrence M. Kerwin, 53,  died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the Nashville VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN after a long illness.

Born in Troy, he was the son of  Anne Guerin Kerwin of Wynantskill and the late Lawrence M. Kerwin. Larry spent most of his life in the Capital District, but for the past 4 years he resided in Clarksville, TN. He was an Army Veteran.  

Larry was a car enthusiast, who loved watching NASCAR and was rebuilding a 1968 Ford Torino GT. He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his daughters, Shannon and Shelbey Kerwin, Albany; and  his siblings, Susan Marie (Jim) Hines, Castleton Jacqueline Anne  (Brian) O'Keefe, Rensselaerville, Sean (Janice) Kerwin, Wynantskill, Patrick W. (Wendy) Kerwin, Averill Park, and  Peter S. (Melissa) Kerwin, Brunswick.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  4392NY150, West Sand Lake on Thursday, May 07, 2015 from 5 - 7 PM prior to the FUNERAL SERVICE at 7PM  with Rev. Anthony Ligato, officiating.

Interment will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY. on FRIDAY at 1PM. If you wish to attend the interment, please meet at the entrance of the cemetery.
