Kevin A. Brenz

Brunswick - Kevin A. Brenz, 61, of White Church Lane died Tuesday, June 06, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Portsmouth, NH, he was son of the late Dorothea  Brenz  and husband for 32 years of Melissa A. VanAmburgh  Brenz. He had resided in the Brunswick area most of his life and was a graduate of Troy Schools. 

Kevin was the owner and operator of Kevin Brenz Auto Body in Troy.   

Kevin loved working on and restoring cars and motorcycles. He was truly dedicated to his shop and his customers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.  In 1999, when he and Melissa purchased the farm house on White Church Lane, they took great pride in restoring the house and turning it into a home.    

Survivors in addition to his wife, include his son, Joshua Brenz, Troy; his siblings, Richard Brenz, San Antonio, TX, Neal (Mary) Abrunza, Snyders Lake,  Catherine Brenz, Plattsburgh; his sister-in-law  Elise (Art) LeMay, East Greenbush, and brother-in-law  Mark (Toni) VanAmburgh, Wynantskill and the entire extended VanAmburgh and Brenz  families; as well as many, many dear friends. He was predeceased by his son,  Jared A. Brenz.

Relatives and friends may call at  St. Henry's Church,  39 Old Route 66, Averill Park on Friday, from 4 - 7PM. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, at 11AM at the CHURCH,  with Rev. Thomas Holmes, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Brunswick.
