Kenneth Richard Grimm, 52

Albany - Kenneth Richard Grimm, 52, of South Allen Street died suddenly Tuesday, March 20, 2012.

Born in Troy, he was son of Linda (Scott) Dobransky of Cropseyville and the late Charles Lewis Grimm and stepson of John Dobransky. He was raised in Wynantskill, lived Averill Park for several years and for the past 4 years had resided in Albany.

Ken was in autobody repair since he graduated from Troy High School in 1978 and was owner and operator of Number 1 Autobody in South Troy for the past 18 years.

Survivors include two brothers, Daniel Richard (Colleen) Grimm of Brunswick and Stephen Dobransky of Averill Park; two nephews, Bryan (Colleen) Grimm and Adam Grimm; a niece, Danielle (Jeff) Cushman and a great niece, Charlotte Cushman. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Harvey M. and Patricia Scott of Troy and paternal grandparents, Andrew and Viola Grimm of Cropseyville.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Saturday from 9-11:30 AM.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 Noon at Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church Troy with Rev. Karyl Hopp, Pastor , officiating.

Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Kenneth Richard Grimm to the Northeast Health Foundation for the Cancer Treatment Center 2224 Burdett Avenue Troy, NY 12180.
