Kelly A. Carner, 40

Raymertown Kelly A. Carner, 40, of Cooksboro Road, died Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital Troy, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Troy, she was the beloved daughter and best friend of Phyllis M. Coonradt Carner of Raymertown and the late Harvey A. Carner. She had resided in Cropseyville for 15 years and the past 25 years on Cooksboro Road in Raymertown and was a 1980 graduate of Tamarac High School.

Kelly was a Certified Nurse Assistant at the Eddy Ford Nursing Home in Cohoes. Her entire life was dedicated to kindness toward and caring of elderly people, her family, fellow employees and animals. She was known for her likable ways and love for others.

Survivors in addition to her mother and best friend include six sisters, Debra Adams (John) of Wynantskill, Dawn Doty (Bill) of Troy, Dale Ishkanian (Bob) of Troy, Kathy Carner of Colonie, Yvonne Lewandowski (Chet) of Troy and her twin sister Kimberly Reilly (Joe) of Wynantskill; her beloved one and only brother, Harvey J. Carner (Denise) of Schaghticoke; a devoted cousin and friend of 40 years, Shelly Clinton of Waterford; 17 nieces and nephews including her God children, Jonathan Lewandowski and Kelly Reilly; 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She leaves behind her beloved cat of 13 years Wiskers and will be missed by many friends and patients at Eddy Cohoes.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling and Maple Avenues Troy and at 9:30am from St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment Eagle Mills Cemetery.
