Kathleen Fasco, 67

Poestenkill- Kathleen Fasco, 67, of Snake Hill Road died suddenly of a cerebral hemorrhage at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday evening July 19, 2010.

She was born and raised in Granville, NY, daughter of the late Joseph Ross, Sr. and Catherine (Mancini) Ross. She was a graduate of Granville High School class of 1961 and a graduate of Castleton State College. She taught Special Education for BOCES-Questar III for 35 years. After she retired full-time she continued teaching part-time Special Education and Music at the Little Red Schoolhouse in North Greenbush.

She was an active member of the Garden Club, the Historical Society, the Red Hat Society, the choir at St. Henry's Church and also very involved in the beautification of St. Henry's. She was passionate about all the work she did.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Michael J. Fasco, her daughter Kelly Fasco, her son Ross Fasco, his wife Maryanne Fasco and their children, Ryan, Sarah, Molly and Hannah, and her beloved pug Zoey. Other survivors include her late sister Marie Hudy and the late Charles Hudy's children, Catherine, Melissa, John and Danielle, and their families. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Ross, Jr. and Constance Ross, and their children, Christina, Erik, and Jaime. She has one surviving great aunt, Gene Bedore, several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, from 4-8 pm at St. Henry's Church, 39 Old Route 66, Averill Park .

Her memorial service will be held on Friday morning at 10:00 also at St. Henry's Church , with Rev. John Provost, officiating. Burial will be private.
