Kathleen J. Rocks Conway, 82

West Sand Lake - Kathleen J. Rocks Conway, 82, of Woodlawn Court died Monday, March 29, 2010, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn Albany, after a long illness.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was daughter of the late John Rocks and Marie Cooney Rocks and wife of the late Francis J. Conway. She was raised in Philadelphia, resided in Villas, NJ for 11 years and since 1996 in West Sand Lake with her daughter and was a 1945 graduate of the West Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia, PA.

Mrs. Conway was an executive secretary for the University of Pennsylvania for 18 years, retiring in 1985.

She was a communicant of St. Henry's Church in Averill Park .

Survivors include her children, Francis J. Conway Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Barbara Conway Salerno of West Sand Lake and Michael J. Conway and wife Valerie of Vero Beach, FL and her grandchildren, Lisa and Susan Conway, John Salerno, Kathleen Salerno and husband Jonathon Swiderski, and Jessica, Jillian and Jennifer Conway.

A private memorial service will be held in Cape May, NJ. Interment will be in Cape May County Veteran's Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Kathleen J. Conway to any area hospice.
