Kathleen (Gallagher) Brearton

North Greenbush - Kathleen Gallagher Brearton, 80, died Monday, April 2, 2018, at her daughter’s residence in North Greenbush following a brief illness.

She was born January 31, 1938, in Kenilworth, NJ, and was the daughter of the late Patrick A. Gallagher and Genevieve McCarthy Gallagher. She was the widow of Arthur A. Brearton III who died in 2000.

Kathleen is survived by her daughters,  Colleen (Steven) Denio and  Eileen (Richard) Novak, and her sons, Patrick (Debbie) Brearton and  Arthur A. (Jeannine) Brearton IV; her seven grandchildren, David Beaulac, Jr. and Alexander Beaulac, Rachel Novak, Patrick Brearton, Jr.and Adrianna, Andrew and Alessandra Denio; her brothers,  Edward (Edith) Gallagher, NJ and Leonard Billet, CA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Eileen Hogan,  Anne O'Shea and Theresa Scheidegger and her brothers, Peter McCarthy and John Gallagher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church 175 Williams Road Troy. Friends and family are invited to a luncheon at Moscatiello’s Restaurant 99 North Greenbush Road following the Mass. 

There are no viewing hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the immediate family.
