Joyce Mosher Cossack, 66

Averill Park - Joyce Mosher Cossack, 66,of Totem Lodge Road, died suddenly Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late George Mosher PFC a Purple Heart recipient, killed in World War II and the late Helen (Sebranski) Mosher and wife for 39 years of Peter J. Cossack.

She was raised in Troy, resided in Averill Park for 35 years and was a 1958 graduate of Troy High School.

Joyce was employed at Key Corp in Albany for 25 years, retiring in 1995 as a Manager.

She was a communicant and greeter at St. Henry's Church in Averill Park, committed to the church and a volunteer for Little Sisters of the Poor. She enjoyed creating ceramics and taking care of her family and her animals.

Survivors in addition to her beloved husband include a son, James H. Murray (Charlene) of Sand Lake; two daughters, Kathleen Weis (William) of Averill Park and Michele Malatesta (Thomas) of Brunswick; two sisters, Helen Mosher Gallagher (Bob) of Ballston Lake and Georgeann Bailey Smith (Daniel) of Poestenkill; six grandchildren, James Thomas and Danielle Leigh Murray, William and Melinda Weis and Jessica and Michael Malatesta and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas P. Cossack.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 8:45 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30 AM at St. Henry's Church in Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Provost, Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 PM.

Interment St. Henry's Cemetery in Averill Park.
