Josephine M. Piscitelli Fisher Canfield, 90

Troy - Josephine M. Piscitelli Fisher Canfield, 90, of Blakeley Court died May 12, 2008 at her residence.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Frank and Madeline Mangino Piscitelli Fisher and wife of the late James F. Canfield Sr.

She resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Canfield worked from 1954-71 at Hollywood Drive-In in Poestenkill, then at Sterling Winthrop in assembly and distribution of pharmaceuticals, in 1983 joined the Foster Grandparents Association and later EOC retiring in 2000.

She was a hard working and dedicated mom and grandmother, she was involved in her later years at the East Greenbush Seniors and Troy Senior Center.

Survivors include her children, James F. (Patricia) Canfield of Troy and Robert J. (Carole) Canfield of Troy, a daughter-in-law Karen Canfield of Wynantskill; a sister Frances (Tony) Scattarreggia Roselli of Watervliet, her sisters-in-law Stella and Clara Fisher; her grandchildren, Deborah Ann, James F. III (Lori) Canfield, Tina (David) Gryp, Jennifer (Dennison) Stone, Kathleen Stacey (Blain) Goverski, Rob and Michael Canfield, David Jr, (Tara) Canfield, Darcy (Christian) Pitcheralle and Anthony (Bridget) Canfield; her great grandchildren, James IV, Mark, Joe, John, Justin and Kaleigh Canfield, Charli, Chole and Cruz Goverski, Julia and Austin Gryp, Marin and Brooke Canfield and Alyssa and David Robert Pitcheralle; beloved Goddaughter, Vincenza Scattarreggia Zucaro and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, David A Canfield Sr.; grandchildren, John (Angela) and Richard Canfield and brothers and sisters, James Fisher, Rose Schepis Evans, Frank Fisher, Elizabeth Isabel Kelly and John Fisher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate Thursday at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church Pawling Avenue Troy.
