Troy John Milos, 82, of South Troy, died Sunday at Samaritan Hospital Troy, after a long illness.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ he was son of the late John and Anastasia Malszygrosz Milos and husband for 59 years of F. Elizabeth Welter Milos. He had resided in Troy most of his life and was educated at Troy schools.
Mr. Milos was employed at Al Tech Specialty Steel in Watervliet for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member and usher at First Baptist Church in Troy and an Army veteran of World War II serving in the 1411th Army Air Force in the European Theatre.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Mary Amato and husband Brian of Hollidaysburg, PA and Carol Jean Milos of Troy; two granddaughters, Amy Klonsky and Barbara Jean Amato and 4 nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by two brothers Stanley and Joseph Milos.
A Memorial service will be held Wednesday at 10:00am from the First Baptist Church 82 Third Street Troy with Rev. Douglas Thomson, Pastor, officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Interment Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
