John M. (Mac) Cook III

Brunswick-John M. (Mac) Cook III, 66, of Heather Ridge Rd. passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014. He left us peacefully at home.

Born in Bronxville, NY, to John M. Cook II and the late Georgamay Wooster Cook. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Irene Smith Cook. 

Mac earned his Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Hartwick College and made his home in the Albany area for the last 30 years. He excelled at his chosen profession of financial advisor for 40 years.

Mac was a lover of life and of family. He lived for his children and brought joy to everyone around him.

In addition to his father, Mac is survived by his children, Samuel M., Killea E. and Kristopher M. Cook, all of Troy; his grandson, William Cook; and his siblings, Edward Cook and Margaret Muller of Pennsylvania.

Friends and Family may call on Monday 9-10:30 AM at Bryce Funeral Home. 276 Pawling Ave. Troy. Followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at Christ Church United Methodist. 35 State St. Troy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mac to the Mohawk and Hudson Humane Society.
