Helen and Kris,
We were so so sorry to hear of John's passing. You have been in our thoughts and prayers. We were sorry not to be able to make the service, but we have both been sick with the flu. John was such a good man, and we have fond memories of good times shared. Our love and prayers to you all.

Our deepest sympathies to you. We met John many years ago when his brother Peter married my sister, Charlene, and had the pleasure of his company and the experience of tasting some of his recipes. He kept us laughing and was always fun to be around. So sorry for your loss. Kathi (Diamond) Stahelski

John Blanchette; I always thought of him as a true and honest man. He will be missed by many but not doubt mostly by Helen and Kris Ann. Always a kind word and a funny anecdote to share. You will be missed, John.

I was a tyke when I met John and his family. Living next door to the Gansett thorughtout my life John was a frequent visitor to Kennebunk Beach and we enjoyed his and your company many a visit. We are saddened by his passing but cherished the smiles he brought to faces when he arrived in Kennebunk for his many visits and the Narragansett reunions he so enjoyed.
Helen and Kris our door is always open at the beach house and at our home on Sea Rd. We will enjoy your company whenever you visit Kennebunk.
Our prays are with you.

Dear Helen and Kris,
I am very sorry to hear of John's passing...I embrace you both with compassion and love...
What I know is what I witnessed over the years when I visited Kris at her beautiful flower shop...the constant support and respect of two loving parents....weaving into their lives the unselfish devotion to Kris and her passion...working together, talking, laughing, arguing with warmth amidst purpose...love...
When we look back at our lives, we marvel...how did we do it?...love...
I have the greatest respect for Kris and the person she is...what she has accomplished...how she works magic with flowers...I remember when she took Dad to Detroit for the All Star Game...i was so proud of her...what a good daughter!
John leaving with a lovely flower arrangement, "Where am I going with this Kris Anne? Come on Boomer, let's go..."
That's how I'll remember John...a man who loved his family...God bless him may he be at peace and his spirit forever lift your spirit...

Love,

Chris Papa

Dear Helen and Chris, We were very sad to hear about John's passing. You were always a fixture in Kennebunk. I have known John since the late 50's when his uncle was the chef at the Narragansett and I worked ther when John was in charge of the kitchen. I am so glad you were all able to attend the reunion this past summer. John seemed to be in his glory telling stories about the staff and the guests.Be assured you will be in our prayers and thoughts during this very difficult time.
