Joan S. (St. Pierre) Clancy

Wynantskill - Joan St. Pierre Clancy, 84, of  Dana Avenue died Sunday, March 08, 2015, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family,  after a brief illness.

Born and raised in Troy,  she was daughter of the late Robert A. St. Pierre and Bertha McHarg St. Pierre and wife  of the late Robert J.  Clancy. Joan spent many years living in Watervliet and most recently resided in Wynantskill. Joan was a graduate of Troy High School.

Joan enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, cooking and traveling. She loved her spring and fall vacations to Fenwick Island in Delaware. Family was everything to Joan, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  

Survivors include, her children, Cathleen DiDio, Troy and Daniel (Charlene) Clancy, Cape Coral, FL;  her grandchildren,  Anna Clancy (Ben Bryant), Las Vegas, NV and Jennifer (Brian) Stilgebouer, Hampton, VA; her great grandson Dominick Stilgebouer,  her siblings, Gary (Eileen) St. Pierre, Albany,  Barbara (Dennis) Haskins, NC, Judy (C. Ward) Reardon, Wynantskill,  Joyce Kehn, Troy,  Fredrick (Carole) St. Pierre, NV; and many nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her siblings Helen Film, Sally Pfitz,  Robert , Frank, Ronald, and Herbet St. Pierre,  Lois Rescott.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 4 - 7 PM.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at the FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Gusti Linnea Newquist , officiating.

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Joan S. Clancy to the American Heart Association 440 New Karner Road Albany, NY 12205.
