Jerry Campana, 54

Troy-Jerry Campana, 54,of Marshall Street, died suddenly Thursday, June 29, 2006 at his residence.

Born in Troy, he was the son of Jerry and Marguerite (Murray) Campana of North Greenbush and husband for 6 years of Cyndi Engwer Campana.

He had resided in Troy all his life and was a 1970 graduate of Troy High School.

Mr. Campana was a pressman for 19 years at the Times Union and for 5 years at the Troy Record before retiring in 2000.

He was a member of the Brunswick Rod and Gun Club and a former member of the NRA. He loved the outdoors and you would find him fishing or hunting any chance he got.

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include a son, Jerry Campana (Tiffany) of Cohoes; a daughter, Katie Campana of Albany, three brothers, Clement Campana (Karen) of Troy, William Campana (Patty) of Troy and John Campana (Debbie) of Troy and two nieces, a nephew, a great nephew, aunts , uncles and cousins.

A memorial mass will be held Monday at a time to be announced at St. Michael the Archangel Church Williams Road Troy.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy Saturday from 1-5 PM.
