Miss Miller was my kindergarten teacher in 1968. Her gift for teaching taught me to love school. I have so many fond memories of her classroom. She was loving and kind. She made learning exciting, interesting and fun. She will remain a part of who I am forever.

So sorry to friends and relatives of Jean. I remember her as a great teacher in Red Mill School. But mostly findling her and Lena Mann welcoming in the Troy church when we visited. 95 seems like a great, wonderful life that she had. Earth's loss, heaven's gain. God Bless.

Jean loved faithfully and was a love, and faithful. I remember fondly many lunches with Jean and the rest of the "Fab Five" -- Doretta, Helena, Lena, and Kay. And several times that Jean helped me move my voluminous (literally!) library from one church office to another, or one manse to another. We shared a love of Jesus, teaching, children, and animals. Whoever wrote her obituary captured her spirit as well as her truly free spirit could be captured. I shall cherish my memories of Jean until the day I meet her at Jesus' feet.

So So Sorry to hear of the loss of Miss Miller(mykindergarden)teacher at red mill school.One Fantastic Person,Teacher etc.I saw her again over the years at nassau country value ace in nassau looked the same smiled the same great person.once i told her who i was she was so pleased .and from then on she always made it a point to come say hello to me when she came in.what a fantastic person.Keep Smilin Miss Miller RIP god bless

My heartfelt sympathy to all Jean's relatives and friends. I was fortunate to visit with Jean a couple of years ago at my Dad's 100th birthday. Jean was a truly gifted teacher. Jean's mother, Mabel, was my paternal grandmother's sister. Condolences to the families.

Jean, you will be missed. I always enjoyed your wonderful smile. Such good memories of your Church St farm. Your farm is in good hands of my son now. He loves the farm as your parents did. So glad I was able to visit you this past year.
