Jason R. Vandeputte, 31

Poestenkill - Jason R. Vandeputte, 31, of North Road died suddenly Saturday, December 19, 2009.

Born in Niskayuna, he was son of Roger A. Vandeputte of Troy and Linda French Vandeputte of Poestenkill and stepson of Suzanne Vandeputte of Troy and Arthur Whitney of Poestenkill. He had resided in Poestenkill most of his life and attended Averill Park High School.

Jason, the past 7 years, was employed by HMA Contracting in Mechanicville .

During high school, he was on the Junior Varsity teams for soccer and basketball. He was an avid outdoorsman including hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.

Survivors in addition to his parents include, his sister Nicole (Michael) Menard of South Berwick, ME; his brother, Christopher (Kayla) Vandeputte of Poestenkill; his step sisters, Maria and Kevin Vooris of Wynantskill, Michelle Bucciero of Albany and Sue and Chris Spofford of Albany; a special friend, Ann Bazicki of Troy; his paternal grandparents Gentiel and the late Louise Vandeputte of Clifton Park; his maternal grandparents Norma and the late Raymond French of Poestenkill and nieces and nephews, Savannah Menard, Joey and Jessica Vooris and Emily and Gavin Spofford.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 PM.

Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery Barberville.
