Jared A. Brenz, 22

Wynantskill - Jared A. Brenz, 22, of Westbrook Street died Wednesday, February 22, 2012.

Born in Troy, he was son of Kevin A. Brenz and Melissa A. VanAmburgh Brenz. He had resided all his life in the Wynantskill area and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.

Jared was an automotive technology student at Hudson Valley Community College who was looking forward to graduating this spring. He also worked with his father at Kevin Brenz Auto Body in Troy.

He enjoyed, hunting, fishing, motorcycles and anything fast. He also enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and his dog Turbo.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a brother, Joshua Brenz, Wynantskill; his maternal grandfather, John VanAmburgh, Snyders Lake; aunts and uncles, Elise R. VanAmburgh Lemay (Art) , East Greenbush, Mark (Toni) VanAmburgh, Snyders Lake, Neil and Mary Abrunza, Wynantskill, Richard Brenz, San Antonio, TX and Catherine Brenz, CA; his cousins, Ryan and Abigail LeMay and Nick Abrunza; a large extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Nancy VanAmburgh and paternal grandparent, Dorothea Brenz.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday from 4-8 PM.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. John Provost, officiating.

Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery behind Brunswick Church Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Jared A. Brenz to St. Henry's Church PO Box 550 Averill Park, NY 12018 or The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144 in thanks of such good care given to his grandmother.
