Janet M. Hale, 72

Averill Park - Janet M. Hale, 72, of Radley Road went to be with Our Lord, Jesus on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Joseph Fox and Alice LeClaire and loving wife of Robert D Hale. She resided in Averill Park since 1967.

Janet was a homemaker, active in the Lake Avenue Community Church, the Rensselaer Seniors Center, and the Rensselaer Variety Performers. Janet was an avid bowler and was part of a few local leagues. She enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband, and cooking for others. She loved planning family functions, church gatherings, and trips to wonderful places with her husband.

Survivors in addition to her husband, include her children, Natalie Coyne, North Greenbush, Donna Casey, Albany, Robyn Hale-Wheeler, Averill Park, Joseph (Paula) Casey, Newtonville, Rebecca (Lee) Gardner, CA; her 11 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Lee, Jack, and Garland Fox.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday, from 4 - 7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, at 11AM at the FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Gary Coonradt, officiating.

Interment will be in St. Henry's Cemetery Averill Park.
