James Allen "Jim" Halligan

VALPARAISO, IN James Allen "Jim" Halligan, 50, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2001. He was born January 13, 1951 in Albany, NY to Robert R. and Mary A. (Allen) Halligan. Jim had lived in Valparaiso since 1994 coming from West Sand Lake, NY and had worked at Opportunity Enterprises.

Surviving are two sisters, Susan (Robert) Anderson of Valparaiso and Dorothy Webb of Rochester, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 24 at 11:00a.m.-at the Congregational Church in South Hero, VT with burial to follow at South Hero Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Skye Farm Memorial Fund, Troy Conference United Methodist Church, c/o Joe Doherty, P.O. Box 560, Saratoga Springs, NY 12066.

A Memorial service will be held Wednesday November 28, 2001 at 7pm at the Salem United Methodist Church Shaver Road West Sand Lake with Rev. Louis Guariniello, Pastor, officiating.
