J. Myers, Raeburn

Raeburn J. Myers, 92 North Greenbush Raeburn J. Myers, 92, of Blooming Grove Drive, died Friday, July 13, 2001, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness. Born in Summit, NY he was son of the late Orsen and Laura Face Myers and husband of the late Irene E. Goodmore Myers. He had resided in Summit and Oneonta for many years and in Troy since 1941. Mr. Myers was employed at the D&H Railroad as a Supervisor for 42 years retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Phoenix Masonic Lodge in Lansingburgh and was a member and Trustee of the United Methodist Church of Lansingburgh. He was active in the North Greenbush Republican Party and was a Committeeman. Survivors include a daughter Janet Nadler and husband Ronald of Malta; two sons James R. Myers and wife Flurette of Woodstock and David A. Myers and wife Connie of Wellingford, CN; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Saturday evening at 7:00pm from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenue Troy with Rev. James A. Fenimore, Pastor of Christ Church United Methodist in Troy, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5-7pm prior to the service.
