Irving F. Robinson, 87

East Greenbush Irving F. Robinson, 87, of Virginia Avenue, died suddenly Wednesday at Albany Memorial Hospital.

Born and raised in North Greenbush, he was son of the late Frederick and Pearl Burnham Robinson and husband for 14 years of Laura I. Snyder MacDonald Robinson. He resided on Clinton Avenue in Albany for many years and the past 38 years in East Greenbush.

Mr. Robinson was a truck driver for Motor Leasing at Montgomery Ward in Menands for many years, retiring 23 years ago.

He was a member of the Teamsters Local #294, a Trustee of the Retired Members of Teamsters Local #294, a member of the East Greenbush Elks and a member and Trustee of the Mountain Chapel Church in Grafton. He was an avid bowler.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Diane Moore (Gary) of Grafton; a son, Walter Robinson of Pottersville, NY; a step daughter, Judith Wells of Saratoga; two step sons, Stephen MacDonald and Barry MacDonald both of Grafton; a sister Florence Sagendorf of Ravena; a grandson Kevin Moore of Esperance; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 4:00pm from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 1-4pm prior to the service. Interment Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
