Troy - Iona 'Sandy' DeLamater, 59, of First Street died Friday, July 02, 2010, at Samaritan Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, PA, she was daughter of the late Walter K. Phillips and Rita Agnes Elliott Phillips and wife of the late Richard J. DeLamater. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a educated in Troy Schools. Mrs. DeLamater was a homemaker. She enjoyed walking and listening to music.

Survivors include a daughter, Chistina DeLamater of Troy; her grandchildren, Miya and Michael of Troy; her sisters Betty A. Vallelunga of West Sand Lake, Wanda Gladstone of Troy, Connie Phillips of West Sand Lake, Gail Phillips of Troy and Elaine Phillips of Troy; a brother, Kenneth Phillips of Nassau and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Philip and Nolan Phillips.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12 noon at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy. Calling the funeral home on Tuesday from 10am - 12 noon. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
