Helen Lucille Sheehan Miller, 95

Troy - Helen Lucille Sheehan Miller, 95, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Rutland , VT, she was daughter of the late Lawrence Sheehan and Margaret Dolan Sheehan and wife of the late John Joseph Miller. She was raised in Rutland, Vermont and resided in Troy most of her life and was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph's Academy in Rutland.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy.

Survivors include a daughter Marcia (Charles) Marr of Poestenkill, her grandchildren, Chuck Marr of Poestenkill, Richard (Linda) Marr of Latham, David Marr of Troy, Donna Marr Davis of Wynantskill, Paula J. Shappy of Greenfield Center and Eric S. Shappy of CA; two great grandsons, Ryan and Kevin Marr of Latham and a sister, Catherine Eggleston of Rutland, VT. She was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Shappy, a sister, Regina Sheehan and a brother, George Sheehan.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:30 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas , Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 PM.
