Helen McIsaac Husband, 97

Troy- Helen McIsaac Husband, 97, the Eddy Troy, died Friday, October 13, 2006 at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy.

Born in West Newton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rev. John B. McIsaac and Matilda Belle (Murphy) McIsaac and wife of the late Robert C. Husband Jr.

She was raised in Troy, resided in Milwaukee for 9 years, in Buffalo for 40 years and returned to Troy to live with her brother Howard at the Eddy complex for the past 7 years. She was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Husband was secretary to Dr. Hunn, DDS in Troy many years ago and for many years was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, First United Presbyterian Church of Troy and did volunteer work for speech impaired stroke victims in Buffalo. She enjoyed gardening and reading.

She is survived by her devoted brother, J. Howard McIsaac of Troy; a niece, Nancy Shaw (Richard) of North Attleboro, MA ; two nephews, Donald and John McIsaac of Troy; 2 great nephews and a niece, Jeffrey J., Kristen L. and Michael A. Shaw. She was predeceased by her brother, George W. McIsaac.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday November 1, 2006 at 4:00 PM at First United Presbyterian Church 1915 Fifth Avenue in Troy and at a later date at the Eddy Memorial- Barbara Simons Chapel with Rev. Alexandra Lusak, officiating.

Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
