Troy Helen V. Burke , 78,of Sausse Avenue, died Friday, July 9, 2004 at her residence after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Michael Burke and Ada (Haight) Burke.

She had resided in Troy all her life.

Miss Burke was employed as a clothing designer for Marshall Ray Corp in Troy from its beginning until close. She was crucial in helping the sample department produce quality items. She also took care of her family including her sisters.

She was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Troy.

She is survived by sister, Mary O'Brien of Troy; a brother, Robert Burke of Denver, CO; a nephew, Michael O'Brien of Troy; a niece, Kathy Burke of Denver and was dear friend of the Rea family. She was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie O'Brien.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. William A. Gorman, Pastor on Tuesday, at 9:00 AM from

St. Paul the Apostle Church 138 Twelfth Street Troy. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, in Troy.
