Harry F. Gardner, 63

Averill Park - Harry F. Gardner, 63, of Kodiak Drive died suddenly Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Samaritan Hospital after being stricken at home.

Born in Chicago, IL, he was son of the late Emery Gardner and Berniece Parsons Gardner and husband for 42 years of Carolyn Wegner Gardner. He was raised in Illinois and resided the past 26 years in Averill Park and attended Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois.

Mr. Gardner was employed a consultant for MRB Communications in Schenectady for the past 15 years.

He enjoyed bowling and playing poker with his friends and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War stationed in Thailand.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three children, Bradley (Basia) Gardner, Clifton Park, Melissa (Michael, Jr.) Sousa, West Sand Lake and Brian (Bridget) Gardner, Colorado Springs, CO; a sister, Sandy (Phil) Torrance, Norman, OK; a brother, Robert (Melody) Gardner, Colorado; five grandchildren, Lauren, Benjamin, Emily, Brandon and Ryan and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.
