Billy, Chucky and family, it was a pleasure to see you all today even though this is a sad time for your family. You all should be proud of your mother for raising you all as well as she did. May you all follow in her footsteps while creating your own paths and legacies. You did well in honoring your mother until her last day and you will be blessed for your efforts.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to my friend Billy and to the entire Horr family and friends of Mrs. Horr. I know from losing my father last year that there are few words that can be of comfort at this time of loss and grief. But, I'd like to share a passage from a book that helped me following my father's death.

"Though the loved one has died, the memory, the sense of the person's presence, has not -- nor the possibility, after a while, of taking continuing joy not only in the reminiscences from the past, but in the extension of the person's spirit into our ongoing lives."

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May Mrs. Horr rest in peace.

I'm so very sorry for your loss Billy and family. I wonder Billy, if your mom knew my dad, he also graduated from Troy High, I lost him back on April 8th, 74, class of 1959. May you keep your memories close to your heart in this difficult time, I know only too well how it hurts to lose a parent, I'm trying to find comfort in the memories...may you also. May your mom, Grandma/Great Grandma rest in peace. Love & hugs to all!
