Glenn A. Babineau Sr., 67

Wynantskill - Glenn A. Babineau Sr., 67, Curtis Avenue died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at his residence after a long illness.

Born in Troy, on July 15, 1946, he was predeceased by his mother, Eileen (Agan) Babineau on October 27, 2011 and his brother, Paul Agan on April 3, 2002.

Glenn worked at Albany Felt for many years and from there he went on to be a truck driver for Pepsi-Cola for 21 years, where he was known as 'Mr. Pepsi'. He was most recently employed by Capital Cities Leasing, 'Bonded Concrete' in Sand Lake retiring just this year.

Glenn was a very kind and hardworking man. He was always willing to help out neighbors and friends whenever he could.

He is survived by his wife, Renee (Hozley) Babineau; his son, Glenn Allen (Katerina) Babineau, Jr., Mechanicville, his daughter, Shari Babineau, Wynantskill; his step children, Cory (Albert) Maiello, Averill Park and Justin (Cherie) Russell, Wilton; 4 grandchildren, Austin and Alyssa Maiello and Ashton and Abigail Russell; his brother, Peter (Shirley) Babineau, Sycaway and his sister, Shirley Chura, Watervliet.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 10-12 noon with a service at12 noon with Rev. Gaylord Campbell, officiating.

Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery Rensselaer.
