Glen W. Sheffer, 69

Troy - Glen W. Sheffer, 69,of Fourth Street, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Edward Sheffer and Mary (Cavallotti) Sheffer.

He had resided in Troy all his life and was a graduate of Hillside school and LaSalle Institute.

Glen was retired from the Troy Housing Authority maintenance department and was a doorman and shuttle driver for Holiday Inn and Clarion Hotels for several years.

He was a member of the Senior Center in Troy, the Italian Community Center and was a US Navy veteran.

He is survived by a brother, Fred L. Sheffer of Troy; a sister, Julie E. Twiss of Kingman, AR and many other nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. A special thank you to his sister and nieces and nephews for their loving care during his illness.
