George Emanatian, 92 Cohoes George Emanatian, 92, of Central Avenue, died Friday at the Eddy-Ford Nursing Home Cohoes after a brief illness. Born in Racine, WI, he was son of the late Jacob and Mabel Azadian Emanatian and husband of Alice Shinorokian Emanatian. Mr. Emanatian owned and operated Emanatian Brothers Fuel Company with his brother late Richard, in Cohoes, retiring 14 years ago. He was a member of the Eagles Club, the Moose Lodge, the Cohoes Rod and Gun Club and the United Armenian Calvary Congregational Church in Troy. Survivors in addition to his wife include a son David Emanatian of Cohoes; three daughters Helena Madison and her husband John of Elmira, Carolyn Emanatian of Cohoes and Dianne Dirig and her husband Rodney of Wells Bridge, NY; 7 grandchildren, Maureen, Melissa, Mark and Alan Madison, Dan Watson and David and Adam Dirig and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers Richard, Tony, Harry and Andy Emanatian and a sister Grace Azadian. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00am from United Armenian Calvary Congregational Church, Ninth and Eagle Streets Troy with Rev. Dr. Mihran G. Kupeyan, Pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy on Thursday from 7-9PM. Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Emanatian to the United Armenian Calvary Congregational Church PO Box 805 Troy, NY 12181.
